My Role:

Product Designer

Catergory:

Product Design, UI Design

Modern car interfaces often compromise safety with cluttered layouts and inconsistent interactions. Drivers are required to navigate multiple layers just to adjust basic settings distracting them at crucial moments. - Overly complex menus and small touch targets create usability issues. - Drivers need frictionless access to essential functions while on the move.

[ STRATEGY ]

We designed Nuro to work with the driver, not against them. Every interaction should be fast, predictable, and easy to glance at.

- Keep essential actions one tap away

- Reduce distraction with cleaner layouts and subtle motion

- Build in smart, silent notifications that inform without interrupting

- No buried menus. No guessing. Just smooth control across every screen.

Nuro’s layout centers around a fixed navigation bar giving drivers instant access to maps, media, and climate.

Typography is clean and readable. Icons follow a unified system, colors are used with intent highlighting what matters, never competing for attention.

We introduced light personalization custom widgets, layout control without overwhelming users. Everything is there when needed, invisible when not.

This isn’t just a prettier UI. It’s a more human way to drive.
